Material Type and Finish
Cast aluminum
Set screws are stainless steel to limit corrosion for general exterior and interior usage
Ready to paint to match your railing color, or can be powder-coated
Base Shoe Installation
Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the set screw on each side (two total).
Position one half of the cover shoe around the post, and verify sizing. Refer to graphic in product gallery.
Slide the other half of the shoe around the post. Align the set screw holes.
Screw in each set screw fully. Do not overtighten.
Note: This item cannot cover base plates. See Item DJA345A for a base plate cover split shoe option.
