Truth® Sentry 20mm Faceplate Manual Gear for 3-Point Hook Multipoint Lock

This is a bottom gear mechanism for Truth® Sentry multipoint locks, designed for use in doors requiring a 3-point hook locking system. It features a sturdy manual gear-driven design and is commonly used as an active component in multipoint locking systems on residential and light commercial entry doors. This part is ideal for replacing worn or damaged bottom gear units on doors originally equipped with Truth® Sentry multipoint hardware.

The faceplate measures 3/4″ (20mm) wide, offering compatibility with a range of profiles commonly used in modern entry doors. The gear is set up for a 1-3/4″ (45mm) backset, which is the distance from the edge of the faceplate to the centerline of the handle hole, and fits systems with a 92mm PZ measurement—the standard spacing between the center of the handle spindle and the center of the key (cylinder) hole. The lower hook position is at 29.58″ (751.3mm), matching the configuration found in many original Truth® multipoint setups.
