P3000® Replacement Spring Latch Gearbox / Lock Case – 2-3/8″ (60 mm) Backset

This product is a
P3000® replacement spring latch gearbox or lock case for multipoint door systems. It includes only the active (lower) gearbox mechanism, with no additional parts supplied. This replacement unit is designed specifically for the lower spring latch function within Premiere P3000® hardware and is intended to restore door locking performance without requiring changes to the rest of the multipoint system.

The P3000® multipoint system commonly features two separate gearboxes: an upper gearbox for the deadbolt and a lower gearbox for the spring latch. This listing is
for the lower spring latch gearbox only. Sometimes called a “Babysitter lock,” this design allows the deadbolt to operate independently, simplifying locking and unlocking for users unfamiliar with multipoint systems—the deadbolt can be set without moving the shootbolts.
