Passive Lock for Concealed Rod with Left Hand Radius Faceplate
This passive multipoint lock is designed for use with concealed shootbolt rods at the top and bottom of a door panel, providing added security for passive or inactive door applications. The unit features a faceplate with radius ends that is permanently riveted to the lock case. Commonly used by several manufacturers, including Peachtree®, this lock is a suitable replacement part for doors where reliable passive locking is required without a primary active latch function.
The lock is intended specifically for left-hand door operation. It utilizes a 1/4-20 thread rod coupling and is compatible with concealed rod systems. Please note, this is the gear box component only—rods are not included.
The operation is straightforward: lift the handle to extend the rods, then turn the thumbturn to lock them securely in place.
