About this product:

The Contemporary half dummy knob set is one-sided and contains no latch or locking function and is typically used on inactive doors. The Contemporary knob is also available in the entry (locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and a push-button on the inside), privacy (locks/unlocks with a push-button on the interior and can be unlocked from the exterior with the emergency release) passage (features a passage latch but contains no locking function) and dummy (contains no latch or locking function) functions. These items are listed separately.
