Choose a patio deadbolt when you need added security for sliding or patio doors while maintaining simple operation from the inside.

Unlike a single cylinder deadbolt, which uses a key on the exterior and a thumbturn on the interior, or a double cylinder deadbolt, which requires a key on both sides, a patio deadbolt is operated from the interior only. This design allows the door to be securely locked from inside while preventing exterior keyed entry.

It’s a simple, dependable option—providing privacy and security where exterior key access isn’t necessary.
