Description

Designed to conceal cylindrical bores.
Requires mortise pocket and can be installed on wood, metal and some fiberglass doors.
All Baldwin 2.5 in. and 2.75 in. Entrance Mortise Locks are U/L Listed.
2.5 in. and 2.75 in. backsets equipped with a 1 on. throw deadbolt with two hardened steel inserts for maximum protection and security.
Accommodates door thickness of 1-3/4 in. as standard.
Residential Entrance, Emergency Egress: Latch bolt by thumb piece outside and knob/lever inside except when thumb piece is locked by stop in front. Then latch bolt by key outside and knob inside.
Deadbolt by key outside and turn piece inside.
When Deadbolt is thrown, stop is automatically activated making outside thumb piece rigid. Inside knob retracts latch and Deadbolt simultaneously but outside remains LOCKED.
Deadbolt: 1 in. throw with saw-proof inserts is standard equipment.
When extended, Deadbolt deadlocks latch bolt.
Kit includes Active Exterior Trim, Interior Escutcheon with Attached Turnpiece, 5015 Estate Knob Pair, (0522) 4.0 in. Swivel Spindle, Cylinder, and Mortise Lock Body.
For 2 in. and 2.25 in. thick doors, longer spindle included.
For 2.25 in. thick doors, ASA Extended Lip Strike included.
