This mechanically actuated automatic door bottom features an internal carrier bar with a vinyl insert that drops from a concealed cavity when the door closes, creating a tight seal against the threshold. When the door opens, the seal retracts automatically, preventing drag and making it ideal for use with carpeted interiors.
Constructed from durable aluminum, this medium-duty automatic sweep is supplied with a frame actuator protector plate and is field reversible for either door hand. It effectively blocks drafts, dust, moisture, and noise infiltration, helping improve energy efficiency and overall interior comfort.
