Constructed from durable mill finish extruded aluminum, this astragal features a 1/2″ (12.7 mm) channel width and includes an integrated weatherstrip system for enhanced sealing. The design incorporates an impermeable film barrier to effectively block air leakage, while the adjustable spring tension system allows for quick and precise alignment to the mating door surface.
Designed for easy installation, this astragal installs with a standard screwdriver and includes six spring clips for secure mounting. It is compatible with and will retrofit Kawneer® astragals with a center channel width of 1/2″ or greater, making it a versatile solution for maintaining commercial door performance.
