16mm P2000 Active Upper Tongue for Multipoint Door Systems
This 16mm P2000 Active Upper Tongue is designed for use on active doors equipped with a 3 or 5-point tongue locking system. Commonly found in multipoint locking assemblies, this extension helps secure doors ranging from 95″ (241.3cm) to 108-1/2″ (275.6cm) tall with a standard handle height of 36″ (91.4cm).
This component can function either as a standalone tongue or together with a shootbolt extension (5670-81), providing flexible installation options to suit different security and design needs. The tongue variant is specifically used with astragals, though it is also compatible with the Rhino and Shootbolt versions, whether or not an astragal is present. Notably, the shootbolt teeth are croppable, allowing for customization to fit your door setup.
