Details
The White House Historical Association has been manufacturing an annual ornament since 1981. Each year, a new design is created honoring the next President in succession. The 2005 White House Ornament highlights James A. Garfield (1881). The design of the ornament is reflective of Garfields style as well as the style of the Victorian period during which he served as president. The centerpiece includes a round ceramic stone featuring a period illustration of the South Front of the White House.
